We’re hosting tasting of Barsol’s amazing selection of piscos, all the way from Peru. Tom Batram, who discovered Barsol for importer Speciality Brands, will lead us through a sampling of at least four different varieties of Barsol’s piscos.
Pisco is an unaged grape brandy from South America. It’s most famous in the UK for the Pisco Sour cocktail, but there are plenty of different ways of drinking this exceptional spirit – and plenty of different expressions, depending on grape variety and production method.
We’ll be in The JubJub, upstairs above the Callooh Callay cocktail bar in Shoreditch, East London. The event will run from 7pm until about 8.30pm.
